Job Description

WellSpan Medical Group (WMG) is seeking an Orthopedic Oncologist to join our employed practice in York, PA. Individual must be a graduate of an accredited school of medicine with Doctor of Medicine degree plus completion of a medical residency training program in Orthopedic Surgery. He or she must also be ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
  • Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

  • Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
  • Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

  • Certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Upon Hire Required and
  • Completion of an appropriate residency program. Upon Hire Required and
  • Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of one or more WellSpan hospitals. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine techniques and occupational medicine.
  • Teaching skills.
