Your Job:

The Orthopedic Coordinator ensures optimal provision of specialized care with the primary emphasis on the treatment of orthopedic patients. You will serves as a member of a multidisciplinary team, whose primary function is to facilitate coordinated, efficient care provided to the surgical orthopedic patient population throughout their care continuum. The practitioner will conduct thorough education for the patient, family, community and staff that provides care.

Your Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (B.A., B.S.) in appropriate discipline is preferred
  • Certification in Orthopedics preferred
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist in the State of Texas

  • This position is responsible for the successful reaccreditation of the Joint Commission Hip/Knee Joint Replacement Program. This includes data review/abstraction, clinical education, patient teaching, and regulatory audits/readiness
