Requirements

What You'll Do

As a member of our clinical team, you will:

  • Welcome patients and provide an outstanding patient experience
  • Escort patients from the waiting area to exam rooms and imaging
  • Obtain and document vital signs
  • Prepare patients for provider examinations
  • Accurately enter patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient flow
  • Stock exam rooms and clinical supplies
  • Clean and prepare equipment between patient visits
  • Support clinic operations through opening and closing duties
  • Perform other responsibilities that contribute to excellent patient care

What You'll Learn

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
  • Medical Assistant, CNA, EMT, Phlebotomy, Athletic Training, or similar healthcare experience
  • Students or graduates pursuing healthcare careers
  • CPR certification
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

The Orthopedic Institute of Pennsylvania (OIP) has been serving the Central Pennsylvania community for 50 years. OIP is dedicated to making healthcare simple. OIP has 25 board-certified orthopedic physicians, 2 board-certified providers specializing in interventional pain management and 13 physician assistants. OIP has offices in: Camp Hill, Harrisburg, Carlisle, Hershey, Millersburg, Sunbury, Newport, and McConnellsburg.

OIP provides emergency and elective care at the following sites: Harrisburg Hospital (Pinnacle Health), Community General Hospital (Pinnacle Health), Holy Spirit Hospital, Carlisle Regional Medical Center, Grandview Surgery Center, Susquehanna Valley Surgery Center, West Shore Surgery Center, OSI Outpatient Surgery Center, Fulton County Medical Center, and Sunbury Community Hospital.

OIP formed The Orthopedic Injury Clinic to better serve its patients day and night by offering orthopedic injury clinic hours 7 days a week at its Camp Hill office and 5 days a week at its Harrisburg location. In addition to the clinic, OIP offers 24/7 acute orthopedic injury advice and care by calling 855-OUCH-OIP.
