Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and positive experience for patients by helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout their orthodontic visit
- Assist the Orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures, including adjustments, bonding, debonding, retainer appointments, and other clinical treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials to ensure appointments run efficiently and on schedule
- Take diagnostic records, including digital x-rays, photographs, and scans/impressions as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, retainers, aligners, and post-treatment instructions to support successful outcomes
- Monitor patient flow and work closely with the clinical team to maintain an efficient schedule and minimize wait times
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and update patient records as needed
- Follow all infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment area
- Collaborate closely with the orthodontic team to support exceptional patient care and day-to-day office operations
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications
What qualifications you bring:
• You have a valid and current MA State Dental Assistant License
• You have a valid X-ray Certification
• You have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• You are CPR & First Aid Certification
• You are knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and changes
• You are computer proficient including Microsoft office and Practice Management Software
