ā Assist the orthodontist chairside during a variety of procedures, helping ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for patients.
ā Help prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments and materials ahead of each visit.
ā Keep dental instruments clean and organized, following all safety and sterilization guidelines.
ā Take clear and accurate digital X-rays as directed.
ā Maintain patient records and assist with charting during and after appointments.
ā Support the team by helping with orthodontic procedures like braces, retainer fittings, and wire changes.
ā Follow all infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and team members.
ā Some experience working chairside in a dental or orthodontic setting (school or externships count!).
ā Willingness to learn and grow in the field of orthodontics.
ā Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
ā Good communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused mindset.
ā Organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a busy office.
ā Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend is a bonus but not required!
