Principal Duties
The Office of Recovery Services in Taylorsville is looking for a dedicated person to work as a CSU Manager, Collection/Compliance Supervisor, in the Customer Service Unit (CSU). The CSU Manager supervises and manages a functional area of Child Support Services and coordinates and manages functions of automated computer systems. They ensure compliance with specific policies and established timeframes; and supervise staff, including making hiring recommendations, identifying training needs, determining and delegating work assignments, coaching, mentoring, evaluating work performance, recommending and overseeing corrective and disciplinary action when necessary.
This position will work 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
A Career Mobility Agreement will be used.
The CSU Manager:
supervises staff and maintains a positive team atmosphere
manages daily operations and resources for adequate team coverage
evaluates cases and determines need for on-going agency involvement
provides training, instructions to staff, management, clients, and/or administration
monitors wait times within the telephone system, completes monthly audits
analyzes, summarizes and/or reviews data, reports findings, interprets results, and/or makes recommendations
Qualifications Minimum or "day-one" qualifications: The Ideal Candidate
The model candidate for this position is a current employee of ORS who is able to:
•use case management software systems
•coordinate activities or tasks
•assess organizational needs such as staffing, training, security, etc.
•maintain confidentiality
•has excellent customer service in dealing with people in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
•address and resolve issues on the team level
