
We are seeking a Director-level professional to manage client relationships, identify and evaluate new business opportunities, oversee the transaction process—including due diligence and credit approval—and assist with investor review and distribution functions. This position will primarily focus on conduit originations.
The successful candidate will interact with external clients, internal senior management, and several complementary functional areas.
Essential duties and responsibilities
Collaborate with underwriters and execution bankers to prepare initial underwriting for each deal based on loan submission packages and available market data, presenting findings to the quote committee for pricing and proceeds.
Engage with brokers and clients to provide deal feedback and manage expectations. Develop and execute an active calling plan to promote growth with existing clients and acquire new clients.
Negotiate transaction terms and manage client relationships throughout the deal closure process. Ensure successful transaction closings upon term sheet execution and maintain profitability.
Support team members in all aspects of deal management and closings, while managing active loan transactions to ensure all information needs and requirements are met.
Work closely with underwriters to prepare credit memos for team and credit committee review.
Coordinate with Capital Markets to address due diligence inquiries from investors, B-piece buyers, and rating agencies as needed.
Manage the deal flow pipeline.
Maintain regular contact with client accounts.
Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience in commercial real estate (CRE) originations
Proven track record of significant origination volume, particularly in conduit deals.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills are essential. Strong written communication skills are necessary to convey complex information clearly and succinctly.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and respond creatively and quickly in a fast-paced and changing environment.

The salary range for this Director level position will be between $210,000 - $300,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
