We are seeking an energized Originations Executive with diversified project finance expertise, preferably with experience in Distributed Energy and Dedicated Infrastructure (DE&DI”) Project Finance, to join the Siemens Financial Services group. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the origination and structuring of project finance transactions for distributed energy and dedicated infrastructure projects consistent with the business unit strategy. You will manage prospective and existing relationships with clients (developers, sponsors, lead banks, etc.) in the power and renewable project finance market and promote the sale of Siemens products/solutions/services. You will be required to identify and evaluate new project finance business opportunities for various components of the debt capital structure (including senior and subordinated debt), review financial models, understand the elements of the transaction, identify risks and mitigants, structure the transaction to mitigate these risks effectively, price transactions to achieve desired risk-adjusted returns, and prepare and present internal investment recommendations to senior management. While most of your efforts will be focused on business development, you may also be assigned to support ad hoc projects and initiatives in support of the DE&DI and/or broader PF strategy.
We are looking for an Originations Executive, and this position will be based remotely within Eastern or Central time zones in the US.

Your responsibilities will include: leading the origination and execution of distributed energy and dedicated infrastructure project finance transactions; actively marketing SFS within the distributed energy and dedicated infrastructure industries to facilitate deal flow and new business opportunities; initiating, building and maintaining long-term relationships with developers, sponsors and lead banks; performing due diligence activities, negotiating term sheets and documentation on transactions, presenting new business opportunities to senior management and credit committees; understanding external regulatory matters within approved markets for business; attending bank meetings, industry events and conferences to maintain and expand client network and remain well-informed of market trends; identifying relevant transaction risks and negotiating appropriate structural mitigants; reviewing, understanding, and summarizing loan and project documents including third-party consultant reports, legal due diligence and credit documentation; engaging and liaising with third-parties (consultants, legal counsel, etc.) to facilitate technical due diligence and documentation processes; creating internal memos, presenting opportunities to senior level management / credit committees and facilitating internal credit approval; ensuring an overall acceptable prosecution of an active financing from mandate to close; mobilizing internal resources and working within company and business unit policies, procedures and processes.
