About the role

OrganMatch is a critical system supporting organ and tissue matching across Australia. As part of this team, you’ll help ensure solutions are high quality, fit-for-purpose and ready for real-world use. This role is designed as a hybrid pathway; starting with a strong focus on testing, while building your capability as a Business Analyst over time. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test cases to ensure solutions meet business requirements

  • Support defect management, retesting and quality assurance activities

  • Work closely with developers and testers across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Support the gathering and documentation of business requirements and user stories

  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and stakeholder engagement

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing and analysis processes

  • Work with modern tools, including AI-supported development and testing practices

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn — especially in new tools and technologies

  • Some experience in software testing (writing or executing test cases)

  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Experience with using AI tools such as Github Copilot

  • Exposure to or interest in business analysis (requirements, user stories, workshops)

  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work

  • Good communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders
