About the role
OrganMatch is a critical system supporting organ and tissue matching across Australia. As part of this team, you’ll help ensure solutions are high quality, fit-for-purpose and ready for real-world use. This role is designed as a hybrid pathway; starting with a strong focus on testing, while building your capability as a Business Analyst over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test cases to ensure solutions meet business requirements
Support defect management, retesting and quality assurance activities
Work closely with developers and testers across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Support the gathering and documentation of business requirements and user stories
Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and stakeholder engagement
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing and analysis processes
Work with modern tools, including AI-supported development and testing practices

Curiosity and willingness to learn — especially in new tools and technologies
Some experience in software testing (writing or executing test cases)
Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with using AI tools such as Github Copilot
Exposure to or interest in business analysis (requirements, user stories, workshops)
Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work
Good communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders
