Enterprise Data Solutions & Operations (EDSO), Guardian Digital & Technology (D&T)

The Organizational Readiness & Change Management Lead is responsible for shaping and implementing the strategy that underpins organizational transformation. This senior-level position requires a seasoned professional with a strong foundation in change management, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership. The role is designed for a highly skilled contributor who can balance technical expertise with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders across the enterprise.

The successful candidate will be accountable for developing and executing structured change management methodologies that support business and cultural data driven transformation. This includes driving the adoption of new processes, systems, and technologies in alignment with Guardian’s strategic objectives. This role will partner with leaders at all levels of the organization to ensure effective execution, seamless integration, and measurable outcomes from enterprise-wide initiatives.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Data Initiatives this individual will guide cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment to deliver transformational changes that reshape our business processes, technology platforms, and competitive positioning. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a proven history of managing ambiguous, high-impact data transformation programs from conception to completion within a large complex enterprise, preferably in an insurance context.

You will

  • ​​ Partner closely with executives and their senior leadership teams to understand the implications of large strategic initiatives on people, process and technology and build long-term change strategies to optimize resources and capital investments while minimizing disruption to agents and advisors
  • Lead the development of multi-faceted change plans to drive effective execution of large-scale multi-year initiatives impacting thousands of employees and agents / advisors.
  • Lead and coordinate multiple project teams to execute the entire change strategy and integrate these into an overall readiness plan.
  • Provide change leadership in implementing complex operational and technology change initiatives to successfully achieve high adoption and OKRs.
  • Partner with team members and business leaders to assess, understand, evaluate, and document key dependencies across initiatives, based on strong understanding of goals and desired outcomes.
  • Lead the co-creation of different solutions with multiple stakeholders to solve operational and / or technology issues that may result from program launches and ongoing enhancements.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to conduct detailed impact analysis and develop strategies to minimize disruption while maximizing adoption
  • Pro-actively identify emerging issues that may challenge the successful execution of the initiative. Develop comprehensive change readiness plans to minimize risk and enable go / no decision making.
  • Work with internal teams to develop creative learning assets and training programs that quickly drive adoption and utilization of new processes and technologies.

​You Have​

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 7-10 years, with 3-5 years of proven experience executing change management strategies to drive adoption and utilization
  • Proven experience in leading large scale technology, operational and/or operating model transformations
  • Ability to establish and manage senior level relationships
  • Exceptional business acumen (particularly Agency) and learning agility.
  • Understanding of financial services and insurance industry
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to present complex or abstract ideas in simple and engaging terms and in multiple formats/channels.
  • Strong understanding of how to motivate and drive change across large, diverse stakeholder groups

Preferred:

  • ​Direct experience with Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Dental Insurance
  • ​MBA or other advanced degree.

  • ​Performance in this role will be evaluated on a balanced set of outcomes, including:
  • ​Business Value Realization: Achievement of defined business outcomes and strategic goals (e.g., market launch of new products, realization of expense efficiencies, successful platform modernization).
  • ​Program Delivery Excellence: Consistent on-time and on-budget delivery of major program milestones and deliverables.
  • ​Stakeholder Satisfaction & Organizational Adoption: Positive feedback from executive sponsors and key stakeholders, coupled with the successful adoption and embedding of new processes, technologies, and ways of working across the organization.

Salary Range:

$95,170.00 - $156,355.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
