This role is focused on shaping practical, scalable, and business-aligned talent and organizational development practices within a large retail environment. You will contribute to the design and implementation of frameworks that support workforce planning, succession, and career development across the organization. Working closely with HR and business leaders, you will translate complex organizational needs into simple, usable tools and processes that improve consistency and execution. The position combines analytical work, HR strategy, and hands-on tool development, with a strong emphasis on enabling leaders to make informed talent decisions. You will play a key role in strengthening internal mobility, leadership readiness, and organizational effectiveness through data-driven insights and structured talent processes. This is a highly collaborative role where your work directly influences employee development and enterprise-wide talent strategy. Accountabilities:

  • Develop and maintain organizational design tools, role structures, and documentation supporting enterprise accountability and workforce clarity
  • Support succession planning processes by maintaining tools, frameworks, and reporting that improve visibility into leadership pipelines and talent risks
  • Produce workforce and talent insights through HR data analysis, reporting, and interpretation for business decision-making
  • Design and implement career pathing frameworks and resources that support internal mobility and employee development
  • Provide guidance and training to HR Business Partners and leaders on organizational design and talent management practices
  • Create practical job aids, templates, and training materials to ensure consistent adoption of OD and talent frameworks
  • Support execution of enterprise talent initiatives, organizational development projects, and annual talent review cycles
  • Requirements:

    • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
    • 3–5 years of experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management, HR Operations, or Organizational Design
    • Experience supporting succession planning, talent reviews, or workforce planning processes
    • Strong ability to build HR frameworks, tools, templates, and structured documentation
    • Solid analytical skills with experience working with HR or workforce data and generating insights
    • Ability to simplify complex concepts into practical tools, processes, and training materials
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across HR and business teams
    • Excellent organization and prioritization skills in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment
    • Asset: HR certification (CHRP/CHRL), bilingualism (English/French), or retail/multi-site experience
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary ranging from $58,400 – $87,600 CAD based on experience and internal equity
