
Job Purpose or Objective(s): The OD Specialist is responsible for the effective and consistent coordination and implementation of HR processes, functions, and procedures while monitoring HR projects and workflow. On a regular and continuous basis, exercises administrative judgment on establishing departmental goals, standards, policies, and procedures.
Hybrid Schedule of 80% On-Site and 20% Remote | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30PM
Primary Tasks:
Requirements:
1. You will assess HR operational needs and change procedures to ensure efficiencies and seamless delivery of services across the organization.
2. Be a subject matter expert in company policies, programs and operational processes and their impact on the business.
3. Clarify procedures to provide interpretation of HR policies, programs and procedures across the organization.
4. Identify solutions to meet the needs of HR functions by recommending process improvements, system enhancements and alternatives based on specific needs.
5. You will maintain knowledge of HR metrics and business metrics, including KPIs and relationships between one another.
6. Develop and perform change management strategies, plans and tools to assist management and associates adapt to complex organizational changes.
7. Collect and analyze data from multiple HR systems, conduct studies, perform research, and prepare reports to aid management in strategic decision-making.
8. Maintain document control of forms and procedures.
9. Implement ad hoc requests and assist with special projects and other projects.
10. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, Finance, Communications, Organizational Design or related field or 4 years related experience.
· Advanced proficiency using Excel (can perform complex functions), PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
· Must have proficiency in the functional use of key business applications
· Ability to interpret and incorporate HR procedures into practice.
· Ability to translate HR operational needs and requirement to others.
· Knowledge of principles of office organization and principles of management.
· Knowledge of principles and practices of budget preparation.
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
· Five (5) years of experience in multiple Human Resource positions with increasing scope
