Organizational Change Manager (OCM)
Position Summary
The Organizational Change Manager (OCM) is responsible for leading and executing change management strategies that enable successful adoption of business and technology transformations. The role focuses on preparing, equipping, and supporting stakeholders through organizational changes by managing communications, stakeholder engagement, training, readiness assessments, and adoption activities to ensure desired business outcomes are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Change Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement end-to-end organizational change management strategies aligned with program objectives.
Conduct change impact assessments to identify affected stakeholders, business processes, and operating models.
Define change readiness and adoption plans for transformation initiatives.
Establish change governance frameworks, metrics, and reporting mechanisms.
Stakeholder Management
Identify and assess stakeholders across business and technology functions.
Develop stakeholder engagement plans to secure sponsorship and support.
Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and leadership alignment sessions.
Manage stakeholder expectations and address resistance to change.
Communications Management
Create and execute communication strategies and communication plans.
Prepare executive updates, town hall materials, newsletters, and awareness campaigns.
Ensure consistent messaging across all stakeholder groups.
Coordinate communications related to key milestones, deployments, and business transitions.
Training & Adoption
Assess learning needs and develop training strategies.
Coordinate training programs, user enablement activities, and knowledge-transfer sessions.
Support business readiness activities before go-live.
Monitor user adoption and reinforce desired behaviors post-implementation.
Change Readiness & Risk Management
Conduct organizational readiness assessments.
Identify change-related risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
Measure adoption, engagement, and business readiness metrics.
Support cutover and go-live activities from a people and process perspective.
Post-Go-Live Support
Lead hypercare and adoption support activities.
Gather user feedback and monitor adoption effectiveness.
Track benefits realization and continuous improvement opportunities.
Produce lessons learned and change effectiveness reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Communications, Information Technology, or related discipline.
5–10 years of experience in Organizational Change Management, Transformation, Project Management, or Consulting.
Experience supporting large-scale IT, digital transformation, cloud migration, ERP, or workplace modernization programs.
Strong knowledge of change management methodologies such as Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent frameworks.
Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
