Job Description

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) ERP, Sr. Managersupports the strategy, design, launch, governance, and execution of various ERP implementations across our Vertiv facilities (domestic and international). This role leads the support of prioritized large-scale IT and enterprise transformation programs, accountable for driving adoption, organizational readiness, and measurable value realization across complex, global initiatives aligned to Vertiv’s strategic growth objectives.

Reporting to the Vice President, Organizational Change, this role serves as a strategic and execution lead to Vertiv leadership, plant-facilities employees and key cross-functional stakeholders. This role is based in Westerville, Ohio with an expectation of 50-100% for both domestic and international travel based on implementation sites and schedules

Key partnerships include the Vertiv Executive Leadership Team (ELT), IT, Global Process Owners, Plant leadership and employees, Quality, Sales, HR, Growth & Strategy, Finance, and other enterprise functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of change strategies aligned to CIO and enterprise transformation priorities primarily focused on ERP implementations with additional transformational scope as required
  • Design and implement an ERP OCM framework including:
    • Change Strategy
    • Stakeholder analysis
    • Site-user readiness assessment
    • Risk assessment
    • Communications strategy
    • Adoption plan and metrics
    • Training plan and execution
  • Develop and execute OCM strategies for plant level‑ and enterprise manufacturing initiatives (ERP, MES, standard work, TPM, lean transformations, automation, workflow changes).
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis across plant leadership, supervisors, and employees across engineering, quality, supply chain and more.
  • Assess change impacts specific to manufacturing roles (operators, technicians, planners, supervisors).
  • Build change roadmaps integrating with project schedules, readiness milestones, and production calendars.
  • This role requires a high degree of autonomy, self-starting, and the ability to quickly build site-program specific acumen and point of view, trust, rapport and partnership across all levels of the organization, including at the site level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Organizational Development or related field required
  • Master's degree in business administration, Industrial/Org Psychology or related preferred
  • 10-12+ years of progressive experience in organizational change and transformation roles
  • 10-12+ years of large-scale ERP-system implementation experience
  • 8-10+ years working in manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale, complex, global transformation initiatives in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated experience influencing executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience leading professional teams and building functional capability
  • Consulting background supporting Oracle implementations
  • Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:
    • Prosci certification
    • Expertise and application in change management methodologies
    • Certifications in project management (PMP), Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and/or related process improvement frameworks; certification strongly preferred
    • Strong presence on the shop floor; comfortable engaging hourly workforce.
    • Ability to connect with frontline realities (pace of work, safety, shift constraints).
    • Influential with supervisors and plant leadership.
    • Simplifies and operationalizes complex change; avoids corporate jargon.
    • Able to quickly build acumen and connection to plant culture.
    • Results driven with a bias for action and problem‑ solving.
    • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Ability to operate effectively across cultures, regions, and organizational boundaries
    • Experience leveraging analytics and data-driven insights to measure impact and guide strategy
    • Experience navigating a global organization
    • Current passport
