Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous and analytical individual to join our team as an Organisation & Job Analyst. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing the structure, roles, and responsibilities across the organisation, supporting workforce planning and ensuring that job descriptions are accurate, updated, and aligned with business goals. This position is vital in helping us attract, retain, and develop top talent, as well as ensuring legal compliance and organisational efficiency.

Organisation Analysis & Job Evaluation – Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough organisational and job analysis studies to document existing roles, responsibilities, workflows, and reporting structures.
  • Develop, update, and maintain clear and accurate job descriptions and specifications for all positions, ensuring consistency and compliance with relevant employment legislation and internal standards.
  • Partner with HR teams and departmental leaders to evaluate job content, scope, and requirements for new and existing positions.
  • Perform job evaluations using established methodologies to determine appropriate job grades, salary bands, and career paths, aiding in the development of competitive compensation structures.
  • Analyse workforce data, organisation charts, and staffing needs to support workforce planning, organisational design, and restructuring projects.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to management regarding job design, job families, and organisational structure for optimal efficiency and clarity.
  • Conduct market benchmarking studies to ensure job roles and pay structures are aligned with industry standards and current market practice.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to organisation management and job evaluation.
  • Support the preparation of analytical reports, presentations, and documentation regarding organisational structure, job analysis findings, and recommendations.
  • Assist in HR projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement, diversity, and inclusion within the organisational framework.

Essential Skills & Experience for Organisation & Job Analyst Roles

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications in job evaluation, organisation design, or HR analytics (e.g., CIPD, Korn Ferry, Hay, Mercer) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in job analysis, organisation development, or HR analytics, ideally in a large corporate or industrial setting.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Ability to interpret and apply employment legislation and best practices in job/organisation analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of preparing clear reports and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications; working knowledge of HR Information Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity at all times.
  • Strong project management, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Fluency in English.

About Petro Rabigh

Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co. - Petro Rabigh - was founded as a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical in 2005. The plant is valued at US $10 billion and originally produced 18.4 million tons per annum (mtpa) of petroleum-based products and 2.4 mtpa of ethylene and propylene-based derivatives.

Petro Rbigh products are used in such end products as plastics, detergents, lubricants, resins, coolants, anti-freeze, paint, carpets, rope, clothing, shampoo, auto interiors, epoxy glue, insulation, film, fibers, household appliances, packaging, candles, pipes and many other applications.

Petro Rabigh II is an expansion project valued at US $9 billion that reached full production by 4th Quarter 2017 and provided a wide range of new high value-added products, some of which are exclusive to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
