Job Description

Transformation fails on communication far more often than it fails on technology.

You will own change strategy and communication for a transformation at a NATO agency in The Hague, advising senior leaders on tone, timing and sequence. Two positions are being filled.

What you will be doing

• Developing and executing change management strategies for the transition
• Running impact assessments and stakeholder analyses to find risks and readiness gaps
• Designing and delivering communication plans for very different audiences
• Writing leadership updates, employee briefings, FAQs and partner communications
• Managing the channels themselves: email, intranet, town halls
• Facilitating workshops, feedback sessions and training to support adoption
• Tracking adoption metrics and communication effectiveness, and adjusting when the numbers say so

What you will need

• A bachelor's or master's degree in communications, business, HR or a related field
• Five years or more in business communication or cultural change management
• Real command of a change methodology: ADKAR, Prosci or Kotter
• The credibility to advise senior leaders and the patience to engage every level below them

Worth knowing before you apply

• Three quarters on-site in The Hague, so this is not a remote post with visits
• Two positions are open on this requirement

Practical detail

• Contract engagement, about 560 hours from late September to the end of December 2026
• An active security clearance is required for this role
