Qualification:
a) The job holder must have a bachelor degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering. Construction management,or related fields
b) 10 years eperience in project management, cost estimating, or contract law is more preferred
c) Experience in Quantity Surveying – Typically, 3 years in the field, with a focus on large-scale projects such as those found in the oil and gas sector.
d) Relevant Industry Experience – Background in the construction, engineering, or oil and gas sectors is highly desirable.
e) Cost Management Experience – Proven track record in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management in major construction or engineering projects.
f) Experience with the specific requirements and challenges of oil and gas construction projects, including offshore rigs, pipelines, refineries, and infrastructure developments.
g) Experience with various forms of contracts (e.g., EPC, FIDIC, or other industry-specific contracts).
h) Experience with industry-standard software such as CostX, Procore, MS Project, and Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
