What to Expect

Tesla is seeking an experienced operations candidate to support its Order Operations team. This team manages key processes related to vehicle sales and delivery, tracking all orders from deposit to revenue recognition, and managing end to end order to deliver process. In this role, you will collaborate with functional teams to ensure the Order Operations team provides excellent support to internal departments and helps deliver the best possible customer experience.

What You'll Do



• Execute and manage the backend processes from order placement through to pre-delivery to enable smooth deliveries
• Manage the end-to-end process leading up to customer vehicle registration within internal systems
• Issue invoices, manage contracts, track incoming payments, and reconcile payment data
• Maintain data integrity across systems, investigating and correcting any discrepancies
• Manage and verify the data required for revenue recognition (Rev Rec), and prepare and share reporting with the relevant departments
• Communicate with global teams as needed on system usage and processes, seeking clarification and providing information
• Collaborate with local functional teams to support internal departments and contribute to an improved customer experience

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree, or practical experience in operations, customer operations, or back-office functions
• Careful attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and to a high standard
• Able to communicate smoothly with stakeholders and prioritize work effectively
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and business systems
• A collaborative team player able to build good relationships with internal stakeholders
• Business-level proficiency in English, and Japanese sufficient for day-to-day work
