Job Description

Location – [Norcross, GA /remote]
Salary – 60-75k
Role benefits – 6-month contract-to-hire; benefits will not be offered during the contract period and will be available upon successful conversion to a full-time employee

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Order Management Specialist to join our AMEC Order Entry team on an immediate start, contract-to-hire basis. In this pivotal role, you will manage the end-to-end order entry process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all customer transactions.

You will play a critical role in supporting the integrity of our supply chain by entering, validating, and overseeing customer orders, ensuring all data aligns with company policies and pricing structures. Beyond processing, you will act as a key liaison across Sales, Finance, Shipping, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues, streamline workflows, and ensure timely order fulfillment.

What you will bring to the role:

  • You have experience processing sales orders and purchase orders in a high-volume environment
  • You demonstrate strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
  • You have hands-on experience with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Business Central, Salesforce, or similar
  • You are comfortable working across multiple systems and managing complex order data
  • You communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to coordinate order processing and resolve issues
  • You proactively identify and troubleshoot order discrepancies to prevent delays
  • You are highly organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams
