The Order Entry Representative is responsible for accurately processing orders from customers into the company’s ERP system. This function is responsible for coordinating with Customer Service Representatives and other internal groups to promptly and successfully resolve issues with incoming orders. Some customer contact is required.

Critical Competencies for Success:

  • Manage work with team members to enter all orders accurately and completely by currently published deadlines
  • Verify correct customer documentation of orders received by phone, fax, EDI, email, mail and all other means. 100% accuracy in order entry is expected
  • Perform detailed edits and preparation of orders for entry into the order processing system, including changes and cancellations as well as new orders
  • Prioritize order processing by same-day shipments, routing code, value of order, and other factors
  • Work with Customer Service Representatives to provide information on pricing, part numbers and other pieces of data integral to entering accurate orders
  • File customer related documentation relevant to product activity accurately and consistently
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; Associate Degree (A. A.)
  • Excellent fluency on English skills written and spoken
