Als Order Entry Consultant (m/w/d) bei IDEXX unterstützt du Tierärzt*innen und weitere Fachkräfte dabei, Produkte aus dem Bereich der tiermedizinischen Diagnostik zu bestellen – darunter veterinärmedizinische Produkte, medizinische Diagnoseservices, Wasseranalysegeräte sowie weitere Produkte und Dienstleistungen.

Die Position ist zunächst befristet auf 6 Monate.

In dieser Rolle trägst du dazu bei, dass Tierärzt*innen, TFA und Fachkräfte der tiermedizinischen Diagnostik unsere Haustiere gesund halten können.

Deine Aufgaben

  • Du unterstützt die Auftragserfassung und Rechnungsstellung sowie weitere Aufgaben wie: Beantwortung von Kundenfragen, Erklärung von Produkten und Services, Unterstützung bei Problemen mit Online‑Plattformen oder bestellbezogenen Themen sowie bei Datenbank‑ oder Datenkommunikationsproblemen.

  • Du erkennst Kundenbedarfe, findest passende Lösungen und stimmst dich bei Bedarf mit anderen Teammitgliedern ab.

  • Du sorgst für eine hohe Kundenzufriedenheit und pflegst langfristig starke Kundenbeziehungen.

  • Du unterstützt das Qualitätsmanagementsystem sowie weitere Compliance‑Anforderungen.

Was du mitbringen solltest

  • Ausgeprägte kundenorientierte zwischenmenschliche Fähigkeiten sowie Erfahrung im Umgang mit Kund*innen und im Aufbau guter Kundenbeziehungen.

  • Fließende Deutschkenntnisse und Business‑Englisch.

  • Technische Fähigkeiten im Bereich Dokumentation und Datenverwaltung.

  • Erfahrung in der Auftragserfassung ist ein Plus.

  • Kenntnisse in Salesforce und SAP sind von Vorteil.

  • Analytische Fähigkeiten zur Problemlösung.

  • Gute Telefonkompetenz und die Fähigkeit, schnell eine vertrauensvolle Gesprächsbasis aufzubauen.

  • Hohe Detailgenauigkeit.

  • Strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Fähigkeit zum Multitasking.

  • Fähigkeit, sowohl selbstständig als auch im Team zu arbeiten.

  • Starke Kommunikationsfähigkeiten – mündlich und schriftlich – inklusive der Fähigkeit, komplexe technische Themen verständlich, professionell, positiv und freundlich an technische und nicht‑technische Nutzer*innen zu vermitteln.

As an Order Entry Consultant (m/f/d) at IDEXX, you will be providing Customer Support in the ordering of animal health care-related products for veterinarians, medical diagnostic services, water-testing equipment and other products and services.

This role is a fixed-term contract for an initial 6 months, part time.

In this role you will help veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and animal healthcare diagnostic professionals keep our pets healthy.

In this role

  • You will support customer order entry and billing, or other priorities, such as: answering customer questions, explaining products and services, troubleshooting with online platforms or order related issues, database or data communication issues.

  • You will determine customer needs and provide solutions and coordinate with other team members as needed.

  • You will ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and continue strong customer relationships.

  • You will support quality management system and other compliance requirements.

What you need to succeed

  • High quality customer facing inter-personal skills, with experience working with customers and maintaining good customer relationships.

  • Fluent in German & business English

  • Technical record keeping management skills.

  • Previous experience with order entry preferred.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP a plus.

  • Reasoning and analytical skills to resolve issues.

  • Phone skills, with ability to establish rapport.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Organized with ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Communication skills, both verbal and written, including ability to communicate complex technical issues to technical and non-technical users in a professional, positive, friendly and understandable manner.
