Astrion is seeking a highly motivated space professional to join our team as an Orbital Warfare Capability Integrator in Colorado Springs, CO.

The Orbital Warfare Capability Integrator will support the integration of space-based capabilities in operations. This high-visibility, high-impact position focuses on the development and facilitation of Doctrine, Organizational structure, Training processes, Materiel solutions, Personnel requirements, Facility needs, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P), directly influencing critical delivery of orbital warfare systems and capabilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience working space operations
  • 3+ years of experience specific to Orbital Warfare operations, acquisitions, or HQ-staff level
  • Bachelor’s of Science (Technical field preferred)
  • Highly proficient in Briefing Senior DoD Leadership
  • Highly proficient in Technical Writing
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Tool Suite (PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel)
  • Active TS/SCI clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working with Special Access Programs
  • Previous experience working strategic basing, Exercises/Wargames, PPBE, Space System Requirements, and/or Space Acquisitions (Program Office support)

KEY FUNCTIONS

  • Facilitating and providing technical advisement and support for the Combat-Force Proponent-Fielding Process (CFP-FP) tying all critical DOTMLPF-P needs to system deliveries
  • Coordinating and supporting Senior-leader (up to 3-Star) technical forums
  • Coordinating between Program Offices, Operational Units, and other key stakeholders to ensure effective, fully burdened system delivery
  • Facilitating, participating in, and capturing actions for Combat Forces Command (CFC) program tag-ups and Integrated Capability Teams
  • Developing Operational Acceptance criteria and drafting Concepts of Employment
  • Reviewing and providing technical input for operational Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures
  • Supporting Defense Readiness Reporting
  • Assisting Weapons System Leads in the development and technical analysis of space control requirements
  • Providing Courses of Action in support of Joint taskings through the JUON, JEON, and EREQM processes
  • Assisting the government customer in Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities to include POM and UFR recommendations
  • Reviewing and providing input into Special Access Program Security Classification Guides
  • Participating in facility Site Surveys and Basing processes
  • Responding to HHQ taskings
  • Participating in Exercises and Wargames
