Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our exceptional healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases, injuries, and defects related to the mouth, jaws, face, and neck. Your expertise will be essential in performing surgical procedures such as dental extractions, facial trauma repair, orthognathic surgery, and implant placements.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed patient assessments and interpret diagnostic imaging to plan surgical interventions.
• Perform complex surgical procedures with precision and adherence to best practices.
• Manage pre-operative preparations and post-operative recovery to optimize patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with dental, medical, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures, risks, and post-care instructions.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
• Successful completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
• Board certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and valid state licensure.
• A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in oral maxillofacial surgical practice.
• Comprehensive knowledge of surgical techniques and patient management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with emphasis on patient care and teamwork.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional growth within the specialty.
