Oral Healthcare Supply and Demand Planner

About the role

As Oral Healthcare Supply and Demand Planner, you will be responsible for the in-market supply and demand planning process in CEE, primarily Greece, for Oral Health portfolio.

You will own the consensus forecast and local forecast review process, manage service and inventory performance, and act as the main Supply Chain point of contact for your portfolio. Working closely with Commercial, Finance, Customer Service, the Supply Hub, Quality, Warehousing and Distribution and other partners, you will help ensure reliable product availability for customers while maintaining healthy inventory and forecast quality.

You will work closely with remaining Oral Health Planners across CEE and another planner in our local Greek team, being part of a broader collaborative team, sharing knowledge, aligning priorities, and supporting smooth day-to-day planning operations.

Role responsibilities:

This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Operational supply planning: monitor in market supply, review supply constraints to minimize service loss. Lead communication to Commercial Teams and Customer Service. Report OTIF inputs, support Sr Mgr to prepare to SCIM 2 and input to Cluster CS Lead for SCIM 3.
  • Manage execution of supply priorities and minimize stock outs: cooperate closely with Supply Hub, Quality Team, Leg B, W&D team and 3PL on high priority products/late deliveries. Cooperate with Customer Service and Sales team to ensure robust Customer communication.
  • Product life cycle management: timely introduction of NPI and other pack changes with no OTIF impact. Manage the phase in and out of SKUs to mitigate write off risk, coordinate changes with respective teams (e.g. regulatory, innovations).
  • Manage respective part of inventory: Reviews of safety stock proposed by Supply Hub, recommend changes based on Market knowledge. Optimize inventory, provide insight and ensure target delivery. Manage residuals and prevent write off risks. Manage STO if required.
  • Being responsible for respective parts of product master data process.
  • Own the volume forecast - 36mths horizon: validate uplift from supply capacity and lead-time perspective, plan repack/cooperate with repack planner to ensure goods availability. Develop the monthly unconstrained forecast based on market assumptions.
  • Collaborate with Demand Forecaster to maintain masterdata and history for statistical forecasts, and generate the most accurate baseline.
  • Prepare monthly forecast review and lead the enrichment meeting: Review historical trends and events, collect market input to enrichments (forecast assumptions) to enrich the baseline forecast provided by the Demand Forecaster. Maintain the list of risks and opps with probability and record of forecast inclusion.
  • Develop and submit (in line with the IBP calendar) the consensus forecast considering supply constraints and commercial inputs such as stock in trade, sell out forecast, forecast assumptions. Manage allocation process in collaboration with commercial. Capable to explain the forecast drivers and changes vs. last year/last cycle.
  • Provide input to pre-DRM of the plan and potential gap to target. Prioritise actions to close target gaps in close collaboration with market teams and Hub Supply Planners. Work closely with finance to drive volume-to-value alignment
  • Use segmentation to prioritize SKUs and customers. Ensure that segmentation is aligned with Commercial and OU QSCP.
  • Together with Op Ex and Compliance Manager being responsible for executing changes to supply.
  • Metrics: Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Forecast Value Add, OTIF
  • Compliance to SOPs, Change controls etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Fluency in Greek and English.
  • Experience in supply planning, demand planning or a combined planning role, with a good understanding of Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and their commercial and customer impact.
  • Significant analytical skills, with the ability to interpret large or multiple data sets, draw conclusions and translate insights into action.
  • Ability to identify root causes and improve processes to prevent recurring issues.
  • Significant communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Ability to negotiate, prioritise and work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with SAP IBP or a comparable planning system.
  • Customer-first thinking.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience in Consumer Healthcare, FMCG or other regulated / fast-moving goods environments.
  • Understanding of sales and commercial processes.
  • Experience in product lifecycle management, allocation, repacking or inventory optimisation.

EUR 26 926,00 - EUR 37 000,00 annually

The salary range for this position is indicative and provided as a guide. The final offer may vary depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Further details regarding the total reward and benefits package will be shared during the recruitment process. Salary ranges may vary by location in line with local market conditions and applicable pay transparency regulations.

Compensation information is shared for the primary location of this role. Where the position is advertised with additional locations the compensation range will be discussed during the recruiting process.
