EY GDS - Delivery Excellence Senior position

As a part of our global team you will be part of GDS projects as Delivery Excellence management professional. You will be involved in working on challenging problems and creating next generation delivery excellence platforms.

The opportunity

We are offering you a demanding role. You will use the most advanced Quality models to implement the newest delivery excellence solutions. This position includes possibility to interact within international environment and work with the most recognizable and influential players in Delivery Excellence space.

Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.
• Assess, design, build, test, deploy and document integration solutions between Boomi and third-party platforms and vendors.
• Technical Design, Identification, and Implementation of re-usable assets/components.
• Must be comfortable working in Agile methodology, driving technical requirement gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders and writing specifications for solutions.
• Identification of root causes and providing necessary technical solution and implementation.
• Forecasting technical risks and mitigation plan sharing with technical architect & delivery manager.
• Strong interpersonal skills including influencing/negotiation skills.
• Contribution to process review and improvement.
• Deliver PoCs, Mentoring team.
• Implement best practices, following development life cycle process.
• Supporting integration testing and user acceptance testing.

Key skills:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in service delivery projects with least 3 years of hands-on experience in Boomi Development.
• Must have implementation experience using Boomi in at least 2 projects.
• Experience on Boomi Platform Services –
• Integrations and API Management (must have)
• MDH , EDI , Event Streams and Flow (good to have)
• Must be comfortable in JavaScript and Groovy Script.
• Working experience on Boomi connectors - Disk, FTP, Mail, Databases(Microsoft SQL, Oracle, etc), Web services listener, Atom Queue, HTTP client, Web Services SOAP, REST clients.
• Experience in integrating very large Enterprise applications ERP systems (Oracle, SAP etc.), CRM systems (Siebel), Salesforce etc.
• Experience with a variety of relevant Web Services technologies, including RESTFUL APIs (XML, JSON), SOAP APIs, SOA, SFTP/PGP/SSL and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience on complex integration connecting various systems real-time or in batch mode.
• Good hands - on design, development, deployment, and management of multiple integration processes created on Boomi, detailed configuration of Boomi Atom Clouds, local Atoms and Molecules enabling integration landscapes for the proposed architecture for integration processes.
• Multi domain expertise and working knowledge on other integration tools is an advantage.
• Must have knowledge in code version mechanism using tools like Jenkins, GIT hub, Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge on Agile scrum and water fall methodology.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Boomi Professional Integration Developer certification and/or other Boomi Certifications are preferred.
• Should be capable to mentor team and handle customer team directly.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• College degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.)
• Atlease 4 years of experience as a quality consultant in Software Delivery Excellence.
• Knowledge on Quality Process & Improvement tools.
• Should be able to handle Risk management and customer escalations.
• Should be able to interact across different layers within the organization.

Additionally, good to have

• Knowledge of project management tools like JIRA, TFS, Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of DevOps and automation tools
• Exposure and knowledge about SDLC, Waterfall, SaFE Agile & Scrum methodologies

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Ability to define processes for teams.
• Experience in project audits and reviews.
• Ability to analyse risks and metrics of projects.
