Job Description

Job Title: Oracle SQL Developer MDM Support

We are seeking an experienced Oracle SQL developer with strong expertise in database development and MDM (Master Data Management) system support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing and optimizing complex PL/SQL scripts, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting MDM applications with strong incident resolution, reporting, and documentation skills. Familiarity with Java/J2EE and Data Vault 2.0 is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

· Write and optimize complex SQL queries, PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, jobs, and triggers in an Oracle database environment to support MDM applications.

· Provide L2/L3 support by troubleshooting and resolving database, system, and data issues.

· Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring problems.

· Generate reports and perform data analysis using advanced Excel tools (macros, VBA, pivot tables).

· Document system issues, resolutions, and configurations for internal knowledge sharing.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and data stewards.

· Ensure SLA adherence for incident and request handling.

· Stay updated with industry trends in MDM, data management, and Java technologies.

Required Skills:

· Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL scripting, tuning, and database optimization (Oracle).

· Advanced Excel skills for data reporting and analysis.

· Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and root cause analysis capabilities.

· Strong communication and documentation skills.

· Proven experience managing production support and incident resolution within SLA timelines.

· Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Preferred Skills:

· Basic knowledge of Java/J2EE for MDM system integration.

· Familiarity with Data Vault 2.0 methodology.

· Experience with ticketing tools like JIRA and ServiceNow
