About this role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect (Finance), to join our Centre of Excellence Practice in a client facing role. You will work closely with other Solution Architects and our talented delivery team who are working on exciting projects across our broad client base.

You will be advising clients on a variety of business processes optimising their Oracle investment to meet their needs whilst protecting the best practice of the solution. You will work with client technology professionals, and/or third-party strategic alliances to provide implementation of Oracle technology solutions.

You would also participate in engagement management, engagement execution and reporting, and client relationship building and management and various levels across the project.

Working as an integral part of our Centre of Excellence, the Solution Architect will support delivery consultants, project managers and clients in the implementation of Oracle Financials Cloud, backed up by proven hands-on experience, ideally across different industries and clients.

To be successful you will need to be a self-motivated, capable of managing multiple work packages, contributing to architectural discussions, supporting pre-sales activities, and providing thought leadership on how to get the best out of Oracle applications.

You will also be capable of leading and providing internal support to our delivery teams ensuring standards and delivery meets our high standards and provide support where necessary to ensure alignment.

You will have the opportunity to lead on new functionality, unlock new ways of working and delve into automation, rapid configuration options and much more. The practice is growing, and your ideas and experience will help Namos and our clients to achieve more from their systems.

Recognised as a certified Oracle Cloud Implementation Specialist in at least one of the financial modules, competent to scope, design, configure and test in a client facing delivery capacity using Oracle ERP Cloud applications, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most high-profile Oracle implementations in the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop end to end solution blueprint / architecture for Oracle implementation programs involving Oracle cloud / on-premises business applications (ERP, PPM, EPM, SCM, HCM) and technologies
  • Review detail solution design and validate that the holistic solution against design principles and client’s business outcomes
  • Plan, lead and run solution design workshops to assess client’s business, strategic and operational requirements and shape the solution using Oracle technologies and your knowledge and expertise.
  • Define design principles, and assess different solution options in context of client’s requirements and provide solution recommendations
  • Interact with senior client stakeholders and assist them in making key solution decisions for Oracle implementation programs
  • Define the scope of new implementation programs and / or change requests in existing Oracle implementation programs and develop solution including technical/functional/process scope, cost, resourcing, and schedule, and drafting of statement of work
  • Be the design authority and advise client teams on best practices for Oracle implementation programs and provide direction to project teams to ensure best practices in Oracle solutioning.


Skills and Requirements

  • Proven track record implementing multi-tier Oracle cloud solution involving ERP Cloud, PPM, EPM Cloud, HCM Cloud, OIC (Oracle integration cloud) and other PaaS / IaaS technologies
  • High level understanding of Oracle cloud applications - ERP Cloud, PPM, EPM Cloud, HCM Cloud, OIC (Oracle integration cloud) and other PaaS / IaaS technologies
  • Deep product and application knowledge in at least one of the Oracle SaaS Cloud – preferably ERP Cloud with hands on experience in 4 or more modules in cloud finance, procurement, and projects
  • Proven experience in implementing Oracle implementation – preferably cloud
  • Strong networking skills (internal and external relationship management)
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
  • Strong verbal and written communication - presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating operations with technology skills
  • Demonstrated experience through all phases of the technology life cycle, including project planning, analysis, design, architecture, build/configuration, testing, and operational transition
  • Well-versed in researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills – high level of motivation, work-ethics, and self-starting attitude


Desirable

  • Knowledge in integration mechanisms with Oracle SaaS cloud and hands on experience in complex integrations using OIC and / or other integration platforms
  • Understanding of non-functional requirements – security, performance, and disaster recovery for Oracle SaaS / PaaS
  • Previous experience building and developing a high performing team
  • Accounting Qualification
  • Change Management Qualification
