Requirements


We are looking for an experienced
RMCS Techno-Functional Consultant

with a strong background in
Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS)

to join our team. The candidate should have expertise in configuring, diagnosing, and resolving issues within RMCS and a good understanding of its integration with other systems like EBS. The role requires hands-on experience in RMCS configuration and technical troubleshooting to support the end-to-end revenue management process.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. RMCS Configuration & Implementation:


    • Configure RMCS modules to support various revenue recognition scenarios, including contracts, performance obligations, pricing, and invoicing.

    • Participate in end-to-end implementations, starting from requirements gathering, system setup, solution design, testing, and deployment.

    • Work closely with stakeholders to map business requirements into RMCS functionalities and suggest best practices for revenue recognition.

  2. Technical Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:


    • Analyze, diagnose, and fix issues in RMCS configurations, data flows, and integration points.

    • Investigate and resolve defects or inconsistencies within the RMCS module and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

    • Create and modify configurations, scripts, and code to address specific technical requirements.

  3. Integration & Data Management:


    • Manage and configure the integration between RMCS and other applications such as
      Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS)

      , ensuring data consistency and process alignment.

    • Design and implement data migration strategies and integration points for various use cases involving contracts and revenue.

  4. Revenue Recognition Compliance:


    • Ensure that RMCS configurations comply with revenue recognition standards such as ASC 606 / IFRS 15.

    • Implement revenue accounting rules, contract modifications, and handle complex revenue recognition scenarios in RMCS.

  5. Documentation & Testing:


    • Develop comprehensive documentation for configurations, customizations, and issue resolutions.

    • Create test cases, execute unit and system testing, and validate results to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

    • Conduct root cause analysis and implement proactive measures to minimize recurring issues.

  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:


    • Collaborate with the finance, IT, and operations teams to understand revenue-related processes and implement suitable solutions.

    • Work with functional and technical teams to develop and enhance integration flows between RMCS, EBS, and other third-party applications.

  7. User Training & Support:


    • Provide end-user support and training on RMCS modules, guiding users through new functionalities, process flows, and system optimizations.

    • Act as the primary point of contact for RMCS issues and coordinate with Oracle support for complex technical problems.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Experience:

    4 to 10 years of experience in Oracle RMCS (Revenue Management Cloud Service) with proven skills in both functional and technical areas.

  • Techno-Functional Expertise:

    Strong understanding of RMCS configuration, technical setup, and integration points with Oracle EBS.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in RMCS configurations, revenue rules, and contract setups.

    • Good understanding of Oracle EBS modules like Order Management, AR, and GL.

    • Ability to write SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, and experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar integration tools.

    • Hands-on experience in handling scripts, data mapping, and custom technical developments.

  • Problem-Solving Skills:

    Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently to resolve them.

  • Revenue Compliance:

    Knowledge of revenue recognition standards like ASC 606 / IFRS 15 is a must.

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.


Preferred Skills:


  • Prior experience in Oracle ERP implementations or RMCS upgrades.

  • Understanding of finance and accounting processes.

  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials and other revenue management tools.

  • Certification in Oracle Revenue Management Cloud Service is a plus.
