Oracle Retail Solution Specialist - Hybrid Porto

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a large-scale retail transformation programme for a major international retail brand with a strong presence across Europe and beyond. As Oracle Retail Solution Specialist, you'll be the functional and domain reference for the programme, shaping how the business runs its merchandising, pricing, inventory, and supply chain operations on Oracle Retail SaaS. This is a senior, high-impact role where you'll work directly with business and executive stakeholders, influence key design decisions, and help define the future operating model of a leading retailer.

PROJECT & CONTEXT

The programme is an end-to-end Oracle Retail SaaS implementation. You'll work alongside business stakeholders, Oracle consultants, solution architects, and implementation partners. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading business process discovery and design workshops, and supporting business journey mapping and end-to-end process definition
• Translating business requirements into Oracle Retail capabilities, and reviewing and challenging requirements against Oracle Retail best practices
• Providing expertise across merchandising, pricing, promotions, inventory, and supply chain operations
• Working with Solution Architects to define the target architecture, assessing gaps, and recommending process improvements
• Defining functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and supporting and validating configuration decisions
• Acting as a trusted advisor, presenting solution options and impacts to senior stakeholders, and supporting governance forums and design authority reviews

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR (Required)

• Minimum 6 years as an Oracle Retail Functional Consultant, Oracle Retail Solution Specialist, or Retail Domain Consultant
• Minimum 6 years of retail industry experience, with deep knowledge of merchandising, pricing, inventory management, and retail operations
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Retail solutions
• Experience on large-scale Oracle Retail SaaS implementations and retail transformation programmes
• Proven track record leading business process discovery, journey mapping, and solution design workshops
• Experience translating business requirements into Oracle Retail solutions and best-practice process designs
• Strong gap analysis, solution assessment, and business process optimisation skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including with business, IT, and executive-level stakeholders
• Excellent communication, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills
• English at B2 level (Upper Intermediate) or above
• Based in or able to work hybrid from Porto

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred)

• Experience with promotions and supply chain processes within Oracle Retail
• Experience supporting governance forums and design authority reviews in large programmes
