What is this role about?
As a Senior Developer, you will be at the forefront of our Buying and Merchandising Systems department, driving innovation and excellence. Your primary focus will be on leveraging your extensive Oracle Retail RMS experience, ensuring the successful implementation of cutting-edge retail solutions. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our retail operations and customer satisfaction.
Job Title: Oracle Retail RMS consultant
Location: Boston, MA (4 days onsite)
Position type: Fulltime
Responsibilities:
Fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Design and develop innovative retail solutions, leveraging Oracle Retail RMS to its full potential.
Lead the design, development, and deployment of Oracle Retail Merchandising, manage integrations
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of all developed systems, meeting industry standards.
Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance the quality of our solutions.
Stay abreast of the latest retail industry trends and technologies, particularly in Oracle Retail RMS.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, offering timely and effective solutions.
Document and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Participate in project planning, providing accurate estimates for development tasks and ensuring timely delivery.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting open communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
8-10 years of experience as a developer, with a strong focus on Oracle Retail RMS implementation and enhancement.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, demonstrated through a track record of delivering innovative retail solutions.
In-depth knowledge of retail industry best practices and a passion for staying updated with the latest trends.
Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, ensuring efficient project management.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and SQL, enabling effective solution development.
Familiarity with retail-specific technologies and frameworks, ensuring a deep understanding of the retail domain.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced retail industry.
