Job Description

You know that the integration architecture decisions made in week two of a project determine whether the support team can maintain the system for three years without calling the SI. If you build to that standard — reusable connections, governed error handling, documented deployment pipelines, clean technical handover — this is your programme.

ABOUT ROLLING ARRAYS

Rolling Arrays is a private equity-backed, award-winning HR Tech consulting firm — Asia Pacific's premium partner for enterprise HR digital transformation. Headquartered in Singapore and with offices across India, Malaysia, Australia, and Hong Kong, we have delivered more than 200 HR Transformation projects since our founding in 2009, and were recognised as one of Singapore's Top 100 fastest-growing companies in 2025. We specialize in SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, and Workday across the full delivery spectrum: HR process design and consulting (ALIGN), technology implementation (AUTOMATE), change management and adoption (ADOPT), and managed support services (AMS).

RAC is seeking a Senior Interface Developer to lead the technical integration build workstream on Oracle HCM implementations. You will architect the OIC solution, define build standards, review developer deliverables, manage the deployment pipeline, and act as the technical integration authority for both the delivery team and the client IT architecture team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Architect the OIC integration solution — designing the connection strategy, error handling framework, lookup table structure, and OIC Project organisation that governs the entire integration landscape for the programme
  • Define and enforce integration build standards — naming conventions, mandatory components per integration, XSL mapping standards, and the deployment checklist that every integration must pass before environment promotion
  • Build and review complex OIC integration flows — personally building the architecturally demanding integrations and reviewing junior developer builds for conformance to design specifications and build standards
  • Own the deployment pipeline — designing the Dev to Test to UAT to Prod promotion strategy, managing integration versioning and rollback procedures, and externalising connection parameters for clean environment promotion
  • Present integration architecture and status to client IT architects — explaining design decisions with rationale, maintaining the integration risk register, and facilitating discussions about Oracle's platform capabilities and limitations in the client's enterprise context
  • Build the technical handover package — integration architecture documentation, error handling runbook, connection configuration guide, OIC monitoring and alerting setup, and the post-go-live support model for integration issues

WHY ROLLING ARRAYS

RAC's Oracle HCM programmes involve complex multi-country, multi-system integration landscapes. As Senior Interface Developer, you own the integration architecture, grow a team beneath you, and are a central voice in client enterprise architecture discussions — with a clear pathway to Oracle Practice Solution Architect.

OUR CULTURE CODE

Six values define how we operate every day at Rolling Arrays:

  • Thinking Smart — spot patterns, chase smarter solutions, and illuminate the path to greater productivity
  • Never Stop Learning — refine and elevate skills constantly; explore the world with a curiosity lens
  • Being Nice to Everyone — treat everyone with genuine warmth and respect, regardless of seniority
  • Be Super Patient with Customers — exercise patience and proactivity in every client interaction
  • Help Your Teammates — share the load, lighten the stress, nurture a truly collaborative team
  • Acknowledge Your Mistakes — embrace mistakes as steppingstones; grow from each one

Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4–5 years of Oracle Integration Cloud development experience with technical team leadership or architecture ownership on at least two live programmes
  • Proven OIC solution architecture capability — has designed the connection strategy, error framework, and deployment pipeline for a multi-integration engagement, not just built individual flows
  • Advanced XSLT, adapter, and fault handling capability — can build and review complex integrations and identify architectural issues in junior developer builds
  • Has owned integration testing cycles and managed defect resolution to UAT sign-off
  • Demonstrated technical documentation and handover capability — client IT teams can maintain the system post-go-live from the documentation you produce

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration 2025 Professional — the OIC certification; at Senior level this is an expected baseline credential, not a differentiator
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2025 Foundations Associate or higher — OCI services (Streaming, ATP, Functions, API Gateway, Vault) are increasingly central to enterprise Oracle HCM integration architecture
  • Oracle Global Human Resources Cloud Implementation Professional — Senior integration architects who hold Core HR certification can independently make data availability decisions without functional team escalation
  • Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) hands-on experience — for integration requirements that extend into custom Oracle-hosted UI development

BUSINESS & CONSULTING SKILLS

  • Integration architecture authority — presents solution design decisions to client IT architects with technical credibility and defends them with rationale
  • Build standards governance — defines and enforces naming, error handling, and deployment standards across a developer team without creating friction
  • Technical handover ownership — produces documentation that client IT teams can maintain post-go-live; handover quality is a delivery outcome, not a nice-to-have
  • Developer team leadership — reviews builds, identifies architectural issues, and develops junior OIC developers through structured feedback
  • Integration risk communication — translates complex technical failures into business impact language for project leadership
  • Commercial awareness — understands that every re-work cycle from a poorly specified build costs the programme time and margin

CAREER PROGRESSION

Senior Consultant → Lead Consultant → Solution Architect → Practice Lead
