We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Test Manager to lead the testing strategy and delivery for a large-scale Oracle Human Capital Management implementation. The role will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and successful validation of the end-to-end solution across all HCM modules.

The Test Manager will define and govern the test approach, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure alignment with programme timelines, business requirements, and quality standards.

In Oracle human capital at PwC, you will specialise in providing consulting services for Oracle human capital management (HCM) applications. You will analyse client requirements, implement HCM software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of Oracle HCM applications. Working in this area, you will enable clients to optimise their human resources processes, enhance talent management, and achieve their strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Oracle HCM Test Manager will:

  • Define and implement the overall test strategy, approach, and governance frameworkaligned to programme objectives

  • Lead end-to-end test planning, execution, and reportingacross all phases including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing

  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, functional leads, and system integrators to ensure comprehensive test coverage and traceability to requirements

  • Establish and manage test environments, test data, and defect management processes

  • Oversee the creation and execution of test scripts and scenarios, ensuring alignment with business processes and Oracle HCM functionality

  • Manage defect triage, prioritisation, and resolution in collaboration with delivery teams

  • Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, and quality metricsto programme leadership

  • Ensureappropriate riskmanagement and mitigation planningthroughout the testing lifecycle

  • Support business users during UAT and ensure readiness for go-live

  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and automation where appropriate

Key Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager on Oracle HCM Cloud implementations

  • Strong understanding of Oracle HCM modules(e.g. Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Talent, Recruitment)

  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale system integration and UAT cycles

  • Experience with test management tools(e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM)

  • Strong knowledge of test methodologies, QA frameworks, and defect lifecycle management

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholdersacross business and technical teams

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders

Desirable

  • Experience in public sector or regulated environments

  • Familiarity with data migration testing and integration testing

  • Experience with test automation tools and approaches

  • Knowledge of Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related discipline

  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Oracle HCM Cloud, or equivalent areadvantageous
