Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Specialist to design, develop, and support integrations between Oracle HCM and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, Oracle HCM Atom Feeds, database technologies, and Unix/Linux scripting.

This role involves building scalable integration solutions, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable HR technology integrations.

Experience with Informatica, MDM, ETL processes, and AI-enabled HCM capabilities will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Oracle HCM & OIC Integration
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Oracle HCM and downstream/upstream systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Build and manage real-time and batch integration flows leveraging OIC pre-built adapters for Oracle Fusion applications
• Configure and manage Atom Feed subscriptions to capture and process HCM events (e.g., new hire, employee updates) in near real-time
• Ensure integrations are performant, scalable, and resilient across enterprise landscapes
• API & Event-Driven Integration
• Design and consume real-time REST/SOAP APIs for HCM data exchange
• Implement event-driven architectures using Atom Feeds and OIC event-based triggers
• Handle integration to multiple downstream systems (e.g., payroll, benefits, finance, reporting platforms)
• Database Management
• Work extensively with Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL for staging, extraction, and validation of integration data
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support integration workflows
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting across relational data stores
• Exposure to MongoDB or other NoSQL databases is a plus, where downstream systems require document-based storage

Data Integration & ETL

• Support data integration workflows, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) of HCM data
• Work with data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting across integrated systems
• Leverage middleware tools (e.g., Informatica) where applicable for complex data movement and transformation

Unix/Linux & Scripting

• Work in Unix/Linux environments for job execution, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate integration jobs, file transfers, and operational tasks
• Perform log analysis and root cause diagnostics using command-line tools

Middleware, MDM & AI Exposure (Added Advantage)

• Exposure to Informatica or similar middleware platforms for integration orchestration
• Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and tools for data governance and consistency
• Exposure to AI/ML capabilities within Oracle HCM (e.g., Oracle HCM AI features) or broader integration intelligence is a plus

Collaboration & Delivery

• Collaborate with HR business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements
• Participate in design discussions and propose scalable, secure integration solutions
• Ensure timely delivery aligned with project goals, HR calendar deadlines, and best practices

Support & Troubleshooting

• Monitor OIC integration flows, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis
• Support deployment processes and integration lifecycle management within OIC
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Oracle HCM integration and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Strong hands-on experience with OIC integration flows, adapters, and connections
• Proven experience configuring and consuming Oracle HCM Atom Feeds
• Strong experience with real-time and batch API integrations (REST/SOAP)
• Experience integrating Oracle HCM data to various downstream systems
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration patterns
