About the Role

The Oracle Fusion Finance Lead will serve as the senior functional owner for Oracle Fusion Financials, accountable for the stability, governance, continuous improvement, and business effectiveness of finance processes across AP, GL, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, BPM approvals, and related financial operations. This role is expected to provide hands-on functional expertise while also leading stakeholder engagement, prioritization, solution design, controls alignment, and cross-functional execution with Finance, IT, external partners, and business leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the Oracle Fusion Financials operations for core finance modules, ensuring system stability, service quality, issue resolution discipline, and alignment with business priorities
  • Lead functional configuration, solution design, governance, and controlled enhancements across AP, GL, AR, Cash Management, FA, approvals/BPM workflows, and related finance setups
  • Provide senior functional leadership across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, bank reconciliation, payment, invoicing, receivables, accounting, and period-close processes
  • Partner with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to define priorities, translate business needs into scalable Oracle Fusion solutions, and drive adoption of process improvements
  • Oversee integrations, data corrections, reconciliation activities, reporting requirements, testing cycles, business validation, release readiness, and post-deployment stabilization
  • Establish strong documentation, controls, audit readiness, change governance, knowledge management, and continuous improvement practices for Oracle Fusion finance operations

Required Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years of overall Oracle ERP finance experience, with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials
  • Strong functional configuration experience in AP, GL, AR, Cash Management, FA, and BPM approval workflows
  • Deep understanding of finance business processes including R2R, P2P, O2C, bank/cash management, accounting, payments, receipts, and financial close
  • Experience in application support, configuration changes, enhancements, testing, UAT support, and post-go-live/steady-state operations
  • Exposure to integrations, OTBI/BI Publisher reporting, FBDI/ADFDI uploads, SLA/accounting rules, tax, intercompany, or fixed assets is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • CA, CMA, MBA Finance, M.Com, B.Tech, or relevant postgraduate qualification
  • Experience in post-go-live support / steady-state Oracle Fusion finance operations
  • Knowledge of finance controls, audit requirements, SOX-oriented processes, and regulated business environments
  • Experience in pharma, life sciences, or regulated environments is preferred
  • Good-to-have exposure to Oracle EPM Cloud, including Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Consolidation, Smart View, or finance reporting integrations between ERP and EPM.
