We're looking for an experienced IT Oracle Financials Application Analyst with strong functional and technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Financials. Proven ability to support, configure, and optimize financial applications to meet business and compliance requirements. Acts as a key liaison between finance users and technical teams, ensuring system stability, accurate financial processing, and continuous improvement of Oracle Financial modules.

What you’ll do

• Provide functional support for Oracle Financial modules, including configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Oracle Financials solutions.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
• Investigate and resolve data issues, accounting discrepancies, and system errors.
• Coordinate with Oracle technical teams, DBAs, and developers for fixes, customizations, and integrations.
• Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and apply patches or system updates as needed.
• Support audits by providing system evidence, reconciliations, and control documentation.
• Develop and maintain functional design documents, test scripts, and user guides.
• Conduct UAT, regression testing, and post-production validation.
• Train end users and provide ongoing application support.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Oracle EBS R12 / 11i Financials, Oracle Cloud
• Accounting Rules & Financial Controls
• SQL (basic to intermediate for data analysis)
• Oracle Reports / BI Publisher (functional usage)
• Excel (advanced – reconciliations, analysis)
• Interfaces & Conversions
• SLA & Accounting Derivations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication with finance and IT stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• · Detail-oriented with strong ownership mindset

Ideal Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or related field
• Experience supporting Oracle Financials in enterprise environments
• Hands-on involvement in financial close, audits, or system implementations
