As an Oracle Finance Tax & Localization Manager, you will specialize in consulting services for a variety of business applications, helping clients optimize operational efficiency. You will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will specialize in using and managing the Oracle Financials software. Oracle Financials is an integrated financial management system that provides tools for managing financial processes, such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and more. You will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining the Oracle Finance system within our Tax practice.

Responsibilities

- Leading the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle Financials to optimize financial processes
- Analyzing client needs to develop tailored Oracle Finance solutions that enhance operational efficiency
- Managing project planning, budgeting, and execution to achieve successful outcomes
- Guiding teams in the strategic execution of finance transformation initiatives
- Providing training and support to clients for seamless integration and utilization of Oracle Finance systems
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Collaborating with team leadership to validate quality, timelines, and deliverables
- Mentoring team members to develop skills and encourage professional growth
- Addressing conflicts or issues with clients and stakeholders, escalating when necessary
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including compliance with regulatory requirements

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
-10 - 14 years of overall Oracle Financials experience, with at least 5 years of dedicated hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Tax / Localization configuration and implementation.
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Finance, Economics, Business Administration/Management, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: Oracle Cloud certification in Financials or related Oracle ERP Finance Cloud modules
- Demonstrating proficiency in Oracle Financials and Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
- Utilizing analytical thinking to identify and improve finance processes
- Managing financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards
- Excelling in strategic planning and execution for finance transformation projects
- Mentoring junior staff in financial management and Oracle ERP systems
