The Finance Applications team is part of the Core Applications unit within DNV’s Global Shared Services IT. The team focuses on establishing, maintaining, and supporting a full overview of finance applications to ensure stable end-to-end operations across the globe. With Oracle eBusiness Suite at its core, additional products to complement the key processes such as purchasing, banking, credit collection, and invoicing, are also part of the finance suite. A well-functioning and up-to-date finance system acts as a key engine to support our organization’s commercial and financial commitments, with integrations to our business production and reporting tools.
The Fixed Asset and PTP Functional Analyst is part of Core Finance team within Finance Applications unit. As with all Finance Applications teams, most of the team members based in the Global Shared Service Centers in Pune (India) / Gdynia (Poland). The team works as one unit regardless of location, and work is prioritized based on customer needs and skills, not location. The Core Finance team covers solutions related to Accounts receivable, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Fixed Assets & Basware cloud, with the main product supported being Oracle eBusiness suite, and requires close input with other FA streams.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring Finance Applications solutions are maintained in line with the global template approach, as well as supporting country specific requirements where relevant.
Proactively working with other team members and FA teams to ensure customer issues are resolved quickly, and with a high level of quality.
Able to discuss and align solutions with Solution Architects and Global Process Owners before developing solutions.
Able to engage with key stakeholders to discuss the current solutions which the team support from an overview perspective.
Responsible for delivering requirements which are developed, documented, tested, and implemented according to agreed standards and best practice.
Able to follow the agreed best practice approach around development, and ensuring documentation is of a high quality and maintained.
Able to engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels within the organization.

Required Skills and Experience (inclusive):
A strong understanding of Oracle eBusiness Suite.
6+ years of EBS functional experience with 4+ years of Oracle Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable modules is a must.
Global experience in corporate and local (tax) FA depreciation rules.
Experience in accounting setups in Oracle Fixed Assets and other core finance models in Oracle EBS.
Experience delivering high quality support to customers.
Proven track of record of meeting timelines and deliverables to a high quality.
Ability to identify, resolve, mitigate, and escalate issues as they arise.
Well-organized and detail-oriented, with strong documentation capabilities.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
