Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle DRM based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to own critical financial master data management and support global FP&A forecasting environments.
You will design and maintain Oracle DRM/EDMCS structures that enable accurate, controlled, and scalable financial planning.
The position combines hands-on technical development with data governance, automation, and systems integration.
You will build automated data pipelines connecting financial master data with platforms such as Oracle Hyperion, AWS Redshift, and S3.
Working closely with global finance stakeholders, you will translate complex organizational changes into robust metadata solutions.
You will also play a key role in improving operational efficiency, strengthening financial controls, and resolving critical data issues during close cycles.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Oracle DRM professional who enjoys solving complex problems at the intersection of finance, data, and technology.

Accountabilities:

    • Design, develop, and maintain robust hierarchies, node types, validations, and workflows within Oracle DRM and EDMCS to support global FP&A forecasting models.
    • Build and optimise automated ETL pipelines connecting Oracle DRM data with downstream platforms, including Oracle Hyperion, AWS Redshift, and S3-based data lakes.
    • Develop complex validation scripts and approval workflows that enforce financial data governance and strong internal controls, including SOX compliance requirements.
    • Automate manual finance data-management processes through scripting and programmatic solutions using Python, Groovy, PL/SQL, or Windows Batch scripting.
    • Partner with global finance and FP&A teams to understand organisational changes, restructurings, product launches, and other business requirements and translate them into scalable metadata configurations.
    • Maintain data integrity across financial master data structures, identifying and resolving mismatches, inconsistencies, and process issues.
    • Troubleshoot system performance and provide technical support during critical monthly and quarterly financial close cycles.
    • Contribute to the migration and modernisation of legacy Oracle DRM environments where required.
    • Support integrations with financial planning and consolidation platforms and help ensure reliable data flows across the wider finance technology ecosystem.
    • Create technical documentation and communicate complex data and system concepts clearly to non-technical business stakeholders.
    • Requirements:

      • 5+ years of professional experience in financial master data management or a closely related field.
      • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle DRM (Data Relationship Management)
      • Solid proficiency in Python and strong SQL/PL-SQL skills, with additional scripting experience in Groovy or Windows Batch considered valuable.
      • Strong understanding of FP&A concepts and financial master data, including Chart of Accounts, General Ledgers, organisational hierarchies, and multi-currency consolidation structures.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or another relevant quantitative or technical discipline.
      • Experience designing data structures, validation rules, approval workflows, and governance processes within enterprise financial systems.
      • Experience integrating financial master data with downstream applications and data platforms.
      • Previous experience migrating legacy on-premise Oracle DRM solutions is a strong advantage.
      • Familiarity with AWS services such as Amazon Redshift, S3, Glue, and Lambda is desirable.
      • Experience supporting corporate finance users working with platforms such as Hyperion Essbase, Planning, or IBM TM1 is a plus.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured approach to troubleshooting complex data and system issues.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and produce clear documentation for business stakeholders.
      • Comfortable working collaboratively with global finance, technology, and business teams while also taking ownership of technical deliverables.
      • Benefits:

        • Competitive compensation of INR 15–30 LPA, depending on experience and qualifications.
        • Full-time employment opportunity.
        • Remote working available across India, with Bangalore listed as the primary location.
        • Opportunity to work on enterprise-scale financial data management and FP&A technology environments.
        • Exposure to Oracle DRM/EDMCS, Oracle Hyperion, AWS data services, and financial planning ecosystems.
        • Opportunity to contribute to automation, data governance, financial controls, and technology modernisation initiatives.
        • High-impact role involving collaboration with global finance and technology stakeholders.
        • Opportunity to solve complex data-management challenges and improve critical financial processes.
