Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle database environments. The candidate should have strong expertise in database installation, configuration, backup & recovery, performance tuning, patching, and high availability solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database environments (11g/12c/19c or higher).
  • Perform database administration tasks including:
  • User management
  • Tablespace management
  • Schema management
  • Security administration
  • Monitor database performance and implement tuning recommendations.
  • Manage backup and recovery using RMAN.
  • Handle database cloning, migration, and refresh activities.
  • Implement and support Oracle Data Guard, RAC, and ASM environments.
  • Perform database patching and upgrades with minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot database issues, incidents, and production outages.
  • Work with application teams for release deployments and performance improvements.
  • Ensure database availability, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs.
  • Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities.

  • Oracle Data Guard
  • SQL & PL/SQL
  • Experience in performance tuning
  • Understanding of database security and auditing.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, or Azure is a plus.
