Requirements

We are seeking a skilled
CPQ Developer
with 2-3 years of experience in Oracle or Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing CPQ solutions to streamline business processes. This role will involve customization, integration, and functional testing of the CPQ platform to ensure it meets business needs related to the Quote-to-Order process.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 
   CPQ Customization and Development:

   • 
     Customize and configure the CPQ platform (Oracle/Salesforce or similar) to meet the business requirements.
   • 
     Implement Commerce and Configuration customizations, including business rules, pricing models, and workflows.
   • 
     Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to gather and refine CPQ requirements and ensure optimal configuration.

2. 
   Integration of CPQ Systems:

   • 
     Design, implement, and support integrations between CPQ and other enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, or other third-party applications.
   • 
     Ensure data accuracy and synchronization between CPQ and integrated systems to enable a seamless Quote-to-Order process.

3. 
   Solution Design:

   • 
     Work closely with stakeholders to design CPQ solutions that automate and streamline business processes.
   • 
     Develop a deep understanding of business needs and create CPQ architecture that enhances operational efficiency.
   • 
     Optimize configurations for scalability and performance.

4. 
   Testing & QA:

   • 
     Perform functional and quality assurance testing on CPQ configurations to ensure they meet business needs and system requirements.
   • 
     Conduct end-to-end testing of CPQ functionalities, including pricing rules, product configurations, workflows, and integrations.
   • 
     Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during the testing phase.

5. 
   Support & Maintenance:

   • 
     Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues, and resolving defects or change requests.
   • 
     Ensure CPQ system stability and performance by conducting regular maintenance and updates.
   • 
     Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, and integrations.

6. 
   Business Process Understanding:

   • 
     Develop a strong understanding of the
     Quote-to-Order
     business process to effectively configure CPQ systems in alignment with company objectives.
   • 
     Collaborate with sales, operations, and IT teams to ensure that CPQ solutions support and enhance the overall sales lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  2-3 years of hands-on experience working with CPQ platforms (Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, or similar).
• 
  Experience with designing, customizing, and configuring CPQ systems, including
  Commerce and Configuration customizations
  .
• 
  Familiarity with
  integration techniques
  , such as APIs, for connecting CPQ systems to CRM, ERP, and other enterprise platforms.
• 
  Basic understanding of the
  Quote-to-Order
  business process and how it translates into CPQ configurations.
• 
  Proficient in
  functional and QA testing
  to ensure the CPQ system is working as intended.
• 
  Knowledge of
  CPQ pricing strategies, discounting, approvals, and workflow automation
  .

   CPQ Expertise:

   • 
     Strong experience in configuring CPQ systems (Commerce, Configuration, Pricing, Rules) to meet business requirements.

2. 
   Integration Skills:

   • 
     Knowledge of integrating CPQ platforms with other systems like CRM and ERP using APIs and middleware tools.

3. 
   Business Process Knowledge:

   • 
     Understanding of the Quote-to-Order business cycle and its implementation in CPQ tools.

4. 
   QA and Testing Proficiency:

   • 
     Ability to perform end-to-end functional testing, ensuring the integrity of configurations and integration workflows.

5. 
   Solution Design & Implementation:

   • 
     Capability to design and implement CPQ solutions that support business objectives while ensuring scalability.

6. 
   Documentation and Troubleshooting:

   • 
     Strong skills in maintaining documentation and providing ongoing support for CPQ system issues and enhancements.

Education & Experience:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 
  2-3 years of experience with Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, or similar CPQ systems.
• 
  Experience in system integration, testing, and maintenance.
