Job Description

The Product Owner is responsible for executing the strategic direction, continuous improvement, functional and technical roadmap for the product or experience. Product Owners work with cross functional teams to:


• Understand how to compete and differentiate in product delivery
• Build the right foundations to create and scale differentiated experiences
• Plan, manage, and drive applications for success in meeting product experience goals
• Manage backlog of product deliverables, and groom according to learnings from qualitative and quantitative sources and in alignment with organizational goals
• Consult with stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions translating client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications and designs for solutions.

As a leader in the organization the Product Owner III will also be responsible for leadership activities inclusive but not limited to the following.
• Leading or co-leading governance committees tied to a product portfolio
• Advising leadership on the technology portfolio within and sometimes outside of a product area of focus
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and directions, business systems and requirements to conduct independent analyses and reviews of technical and business requirements.
• Understanding the long-term business objectives and proposing technology strategies to meet those objectives by introducing innovation through technology
• Delegate work to other product team resources as appropriate.

1. Serve as Product Owner for enterprise reporting, dashboards, and analytics platforms
2. Design, develop, and support BI reports, dashboards, and self-service reporting capabilities
3. Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions
4. Lead technical architecture and design for Oracle Cloud reporting, integrations, and extensions
5. Develop and support integrations using OIC, VBCS, PCS, and Oracle Fusion Cloud (HCM, ERP, SCM)
6. Optimize reporting solutions for performance, scalability, security, and usability
7. Implement automation strategies to improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual effort
8. Define and manage product roadmap, backlog, and delivery timelines
9. Ensure high availability, performance, and user adoption of reporting and analytics solutions
10. Lead governance, compliance, and security frameworks across Oracle Cloud environments
11. Drive data management, validation, integration, and modeling standards
12. Collaborate with stakeholders and act as a technical advisor to business and IT leadership
13. Conduct demos, retrospectives, and training sessions to promote adoption and continuous improvement
14. Manage multiple priorities in an agile delivery environment
15. Mentor team members and promote best practices, innovation, and technical excellence
16. Support audit readiness, compliance, and configuration/change management processes
17. Contribute to innovation, ROI analysis, and business case development
18. Responsible for mapping business processes to support applications, defining the data entities, selecting integration technology components and patterns, and designing the integration.
19. Develops and maintains enterprise architecture and security around all components
20. Provide hands-on development and configuration support for existing and future implementations of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications ( HCM, ERP, SCM, etc.);
21. Responsible for ensuring auditing compliance across Oracle infrastructure and security.
22. Utilizes an in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and directions, business systems and requirements, conducts independent analyses and reviews of technical and business requirements.
23. Develops innovations with business partnerships, enhancing operations and/or providing a competitive advantage to the organization. Acts as the primary technical resource and consultant, in their area of expertise, to senior client and IT management and staff.
24. Strong experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) using FTP, SOAP, REST, FBDI, BIP Reports, SaaS, PaaS including experience with working on-premises integration and 3rd part applications to oracle cloud.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; master’s degree preferred.
  • Technical expertise in SQL, Pl/SQL, BIP Reports, OTBI, OIC, VBCS, PCS, IDCS, DevOps, App composer etc.

Experience:

  • 12+ years of relevant IT experience with deep expertise in enterprise technologies; healthcare technology experience preferred
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Oracle Fusion ERP and PaaS implementations across Finance, HCM, and Supply Chain domains
  • Strong background working in cross-functional project environments involving internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders

Core Technical Expertise

Oracle Cloud Integration & Development

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) including:
    • REST, SOAP, FTP integrations
    • FBDI, BIP Reports, SaaS-to-PaaS and on-premises integrations
    • 3rd-party system integrations with Oracle Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of OIC design patterns, orchestration styles, and best practices
  • Experience with ATP, APEX/ORDS services, and PaaS-to-SaaS integration patterns
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting integrations, extensions, and workflows in:
    • OIC, VBCS, PCS, SQL/PLSQL

VBCS & Application Development

  • Experience building and deploying at least one Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) application
  • Expertise in:
    • UX/UI design using VBCS
    • Integration of VBCS with Oracle Cloud via OIC adapters
    • Security framework in VBCS and its interaction with enterprise systems

Reporting & Data Management

  • Strong experience with BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and Oracle Fusion reporting frameworks
  • Expertise developing reports using web services (SOAP/REST)
  • Experience with:
    • SQL, PL/SQL, and Fusion HCM/ERP data models
    • BI Publisher, OTBI, ADFDI, SmartView, Financial Reporting Studio
    • Performance tuning of reporting queries
    • Data integration, validation, and data quality processes
  • Knowledge of logical and physical data modeling (relational and dimensional)
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Security Framework

Compensation Statement

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $103,000.00 - $198,065.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
