The position's pay range will be $120,000 - $171,479. Pay will be based on education and direct experience. Please note that the maximum pay for this Pay Scale represents the full proficiency of the position, not the starting range.
This is a full-time position with the Office of Information Technology assigned to the Department of Public Works. The Oracle Cloud DPW Functional Application Engineer will be responsible for DPW processes related to budgets for capital improvement projects and providing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for our Oracle Cloud ERP/Fusion applications. This role requires familiarity with the Oracle Unifier module, with a focus on customer experience within Finance, Purchasing, and Budget. The ideal candidate will possess good problem-solving skills, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibility / Duties
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in mathematics, public or business administration, or a related field, including or supplemented by specialized training in database administration, electronic data processing, programming, GIS engineering, or computer science; and six (6) or more years of experience in electronic data processing systems analysis and design.
Note: The graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in mathematics, public or business administration, or a related field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis with up to four (4) years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP support; this is in addition to the six (6) or more years of experience in electronic data processing systems analysis and design. Candidates must still have specialized training in database administration, electronic data processing, programming, GIS engineering, or computer science.
Note: Related bachelor's degrees include Computer Science, Information Technology, and similar information technology degrees.
