Requirements


We are looking for a seasoned
Finance Senior Consultant

with in-depth experience in
Oracle Cloud ERP

, particularly in the
Record to Report (R2R)

cycle. The ideal candidate will possess specialized knowledge of
Leasing functionality in Oracle Assets

and will be skilled in implementing and optimizing finance systems. This role requires a strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and best practices in
Oracle Cloud technology

. This person will lead finance-related projects and serve as a vital link between the finance department and other business units, ensuring the seamless execution of financial reporting and compliance tasks.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Financial Reporting and Compliance


    • Oversee reporting for
      finance and operating leases

      within
      Oracle Assets

      , ensuring accuracy and compliance with
      ASC842

      and
      IFRS16

      standards.

    • Implement processes and controls to manage lease accounting in Oracle Cloud, providing clear financial insights.

  • System Implementation and Optimization


    • Lead the
      implementation of Oracle Assets Expense Lease functionality

      , optimizing processes for both finance and operating leases.

    • Continually assess and improve lease functionality to enhance reporting accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Management


    • Serve as the primary liaison between the finance department and other key business units, ensuring alignment on financial reporting requirements and process improvements.

    • Facilitate effective communication and alignment across teams, especially regarding changes in financial reporting or lease management functions.

  • Team Leadership


    • Manage, mentor, and guide a team of finance professionals, fostering a supportive, collaborative environment.

    • Promote team members’ professional growth, ensuring skill development and knowledge-sharing in financial best practices and Oracle ERP functionality.


Required Qualifications:


  • Educational Background

    :


    • Bachelor’s degree in
      Accounting

      ,
      Computer Applications

      ,
      Computer Engineering

      ,
      Finance

      ,
      Business Administration

      , or a closely related field.

  • Professional Experience

    :


    • Minimum of
      5 years of experience

      in financial management, with strong involvement in
      Oracle Cloud ERP

      .

    • Demonstrated expertise in the
      Record to Report (R2R)

      cycle and specialized experience with
      Leasing functionality in Oracle Assets

      .

  • Technical Knowledge

    :


    • Functional knowledge of key
      Oracle Cloud modules

      such as
      General Ledger

      ,
      Fixed Assets

      , and
      Accounts Payable

      from an integration and data flow perspective.

    • Strong understanding of financial regulations, specifically
      ASC842

      and
      IFRS16

      , and how they impact lease reporting and compliance requirements.

  • Leadership and Communication Skills

    • Proven ability to lead teams effectively and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

      or implementations, demonstrating effective project management and process optimization skills.
