💻 THE ROLE

We are looking for a #TechTalent to work as an Oracle Apex Developer for a national project.

🙂 YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Design Architecture – Map out page flow, security model, data structures, and integration points.
• Develop Database Objects – Create tables, indexes, constraints; write optimized PL/SQL packages and functions.
• Build APEX Pages – Develop forms, reports, charts, calendars, and dynamic actions using the Application Builder.
• Enhance UI – Add custom JavaScript, CSS, and third party libraries; develop plug ins when needed.
• Integrate APIs – Consume external REST/SOAP services; expose internal APEX APIs via ORDS.
• Test & Validate – Run unit tests (utPLSQL), functional UI tests (Selenium/Cypress), and perform regression testing.
• Optimize Performance – Tune SQL, reduce page load times, implement caching strategies.
• Version Control & Release – Commit code to Git, manage branches, create CI/CD pipelines for DEV → UAT → PROD promotion.
• Document & Transfer Knowledge – Produce data dictionaries, technical docs, user guides; conduct training sessions.
• Support & Maintenance – Provide post deployment bug fixes, implement enhancement requests, monitor application health.

💡 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Oracle APEX Development - 4+ years of experience building multi page apps (APEX 19.x 23.x).
• Experience with PL/SQL & Oracle Database - Write/optimize procedures, packages, triggers; deep knowledge of Oracle 11g 21c.
• Experience with SQL Performance Tuning - Analyze execution plans, use indexes, partitioning, AWR/ASH, DBMS_XPLAN.
• Experience with Front End Web Tech - Custom JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, HTML5, CSS3/Bootstrap; extend APEX UI.
• Experience with REST & SOAP Integration - Consume and publish APIs with ORDS, APEX_WEB_SERVICE, UTL_HTTP.
• Experience with Version Control & CI/CD - Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket), APEX export/import, automated deployment pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with APEX Plug in Development - Build reusable dynamic action plug ins and component libraries (optional).
• Experience with Testing & Debugging - use PL SQL for unit tests, Selenium/Cypress for UI testing, and APEX debugging tools.
• Experience with Security Best Practices - Implement authentication/authorization schemes, protect against XSS/SQL i, use Oracle Wallet.
• Experience with Data Modeling - Design relational schemas, create ER diagrams, use Oracle Data Modeler or similar tools.
• Fluency in English (written & spoken).
