Job Description

Position: OR Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OR Registered Nurse to join our client's hospital in Libya. The OR Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing safe and effective care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This is a full-time position, with a 48-hour work week.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to plan and implement patient care during surgical procedures

- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration

- Prepare and maintain the surgical environment, including setting up instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies

- Assist with positioning and prepping patients for surgery

- Monitor and document patient's progress during surgery and communicate any changes or concerns to the surgical team

- Administer medications and provide post-operative care to patients

- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care and follow-up instructions

- Maintain accurate and complete patient records

- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols and guidelines

- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a positive patient experience and high-quality care

Qualifications:

- Nursing bachelor/ diploma

- Valid nursing license and registration from Home country

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the operating room

- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, techniques, and equipment

- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals

- Current BLS and ACLS certification preferred
