OR Coordinator/ Scheduler - Surgery Scheduling
*Full time; 9am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday
*1+ year of surgery scheduling experience and medical terminology / background preferred
*Excellent computer & communication skills
*Epic scheduling experience preferred

OR COORDINATOR / SCHEDULER Duties:
Position responsible for performing complex and diversified duties for the department. Responsible for the scheduling of patients in multiple procedural areas for two hospitals. This role requires consistent, accurate scheduling of patients, procedures, vendors and special equipment needs. Excellent communication skills, team work, phone etiquette, critical thinking, surgical terminology (spelling and pronunciation), attention to detail, trouble shooting and consistent follow through a must for this position. Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
