Job Title: OR Circulating RN – 17-Week Contract | Day Shift
Location: Physicians’ Surgery Center of Tidewater, Virginia Beach, VA 23454
Pay: $50/hour
Contract: 8/24/26–12/21/26 (17 weeks)
Schedule: 6:30 AM–4:00 PM
Hours: 4 × 9.5-hour shifts / approximately 38 hours/week

CareerNation is seeking an experienced OR / Circulating Registered Nurse for a 17-week contract assignment at an ambulatory surgery center in Virginia Beach.

The position offers a consistent four-day daytime schedule and approximately 38 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as circulating nurse during surgical procedures
• Conduct and document required preoperative safety checks
• Prepare and maintain the operating-room environment
• Coordinate necessary equipment, instruments and supplies
• Assist with safe patient positioning and preparation
• Monitor and advocate for patient safety
• Complete required intraoperative documentation
• Participate in surgical counts and procedural time-outs
• Communicate with surgeons, anesthesia providers and surgical staff
• Assist with room turnover and efficient case flow

Candidates should have previous OR/Circulating RN experience and be comfortable working in an ambulatory surgery center.

Pediatric population is very small, and most are teenagers. Monday thru Thursday only.
