The Operational Excellence Project Manager at Rogers-O'Brien Construction plays a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and enhancing operational efficiency across the organization. This position is essential in aligning departmental objectives with the company's vision of being Texas' Premier Builder, delivering excellence and expertise to our valued customers.

Reporting directly to the Operational Excellence Director, the role involves implementing a data-driven decision-making process and a robust project delivery methodology. The Project Manager will bring all regions under a common service delivery platform, establish best practices, and scale existing functions to meet growth strategies, contributing significantly to Rogers-O'Brien Construction's reputation within the construction industry. Additionally, the role will involve researching and developing new methodologies to further enhance operational excellence and streamline processes.

• Experience in developing and documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Knowledge of project management methodologies to streamline delivery processes
• Familiarity with IT tools and software to support operational needs
• Capacity to promote professional development and training opportunities within teams

Responsibilities

• Implement the company's strategic initiatives to align with organizational goals
• Oversee the development and strategy of the Operational Excellence Department to strengthen Rogers-O’Brien’s industry standing
• Collaborate with department leads to develop tools and processes that enhance operational efficiency
• Act as a thought leader in operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Aid in the development and documentation of SOPs within the company Playbook
• Engage in conversations with stakeholders to assess and implement process improvements
• Work with jobsite teams to ensure effective utilization of corporate tools for risk reduction
• Provide guidance and facilitate training opportunities to promote team development
• Collaborate with the IT team to support technology implementation and training
• Partner with Marketing for co-marketing opportunities and represent Rogers-O'Brien at industry events
