Specsavers has a unique opportunity for an experienced Optometrist to own and work across two stores in Frankston, Victoria. Both stores are positioned in prime retail locations, and with a loyal, growing customer base, our dedicated team is highly regarded in the community for delivering exceptional patient care. 

Located on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula, Frankston is a thriving coastal suburb offering a relaxed yet well connected lifestyle. Known as the gateway to the Peninsula, it blends bayside living with a busy metropolitan feel, featuring a vibrant dining scene, major shopping centres, and a growing arts and culture precinct. With excellent public transport including direct train connections to the city, access to medical facilities, and proximity to the Peninsula’s wineries and coastal attractions, Frankston delivers a balanced mix of convenience, community, and lifestyle appeal.

Our Frankston store opened in 2008 and is strategically located on Wells Street, a well-known central strip with strong foot traffic. The store itself is 161sqm in size with 2 optical test rooms and 6 dispense desks.  

Due to business growth, a second store, Specsavers Frankston Bayside, opened in 2014 within the Bayside Centre, which is home to over 200 specialty retailers and is anchored by Myer, Kmart, Target, Coles, and ALDI. The store itself is 206sqm in size with 4 optical test rooms, a dedicated Audiology room and 8 dispense desks. Both stores boast and state of the art equipment including OCT, and house 1000+ frames on display.  

This opportunity is ideal for experienced optometrists who understand what it takes to lead and motivate a team. You will have a passion for delivering high-quality clinical care and customer service. This store demographic would offer the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to experience a variety of pathology and make a positive impact in their local community.
