Specsavers has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Optometrist to step into store ownership in the heart of Katoomba, NSW. Our friendly and established team of 14 is well known in the local community for delivering high‑quality patient care.

Katoomba is a vibrant Blue Mountains town known for its natural beauty, strong community spirit, and relaxed lifestyle. Located approximately 100kms west of Sydney, it is the cultural and commercial heart of the upper Blue Mountains, offering easy access to world‑class bushwalks, national parks, and iconic lookouts. With a lively main street, excellent transport links, and a slower‑paced, community‑focused atmosphere, Katoomba provides an appealing balance of lifestyle and accessibility.

Our Katoomba store, which opened in 2010, is ideally located on Katoomba Street, the town’s main and busiest retail strip. The store itself is 160sqm in size, with 2 optical test rooms, 4 dispense desks, over 1,000 frames on display, and state-of-the-art equipment, including OCT.  The store offers convenient access and ample on‑site parking located behind the store.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced optometrist who understands what it takes to lead and motivate a team. You will have a passion for delivering high-quality clinical care and customer service. This store demographic would offer the successful candidate a fantastic opportunity to experience a variety of pathology and make a positive impact in their local community.
